Speedpro sports brake discs – Felicia/Favorit – perforated
Perforated discs for Skoda Felicia/Favorit from production year 6/1993 from Speedpro.
Use for sporting purposes only.
The braking surface of these special discs is specially designed with grooves or drilled holes. Such discs not only look better on sports cars, but they are also more suitable for them than standard solid discs for several other reasons:
- They are more powerful, guarantee better shot and more effective brake response. They can develop higher friction than solid discs.
- They are more effective on wet surfaces and in poor weather conditions. Holes and grooves can disrupt the water layerwhich can stick to the disc surface, and the brakes respond effectively from the very first moment.
- They allow better heat and gas dispersion, which are created during braking between the pad and disc surface. Thanks to this ability, perforated and grooved discs can withstand more demanding handling for longer without losing braking effect.
- The discs are constantly cleaned and renew the friction material on the plates.
